Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SprayFoamCalc (“we”) collects when you use www.sprayfoamcalc.com, why, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: kundingwhale@gmail.com.

What you give us

Using the calculator needs no account and no email. The dimensions, foam type and other values you enter are used in your browser to produce the estimate. The contractor quote you may type in to compare is compared in your browser and is not sent to us.

If you choose to save an estimate by submitting the form on the results page, we store: your email address, your ZIP code (if you enter one), the project's spray area, the foam thickness, the estimated price range, and the date. We use this to follow up on your request and to understand how the calculator is used. We do not sell your email address.

What is collected automatically

• Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights — page views and performance measurements, used to understand traffic and keep the site fast.
• Microsoft Clarity — records how visitors use pages (clicks, scrolling, cursor movement) in aggregated heatmaps and session replays so we can find confusing parts of the calculator. Clarity sets cookies and processes data under Microsoft's privacy statement.
• Server logs kept by our hosting provider (Vercel), such as IP address and browser type, for security and operations.

Who else processes your data

• Hosting: Vercel.
• Saved estimates are stored in a spreadsheet through a spreadsheet-to-API service (Sheetbest) connected to Google Sheets.
• Affiliate partners: when you click an affiliate link you leave this site. The partner and its affiliate network may set cookies to credit us for the referral and have their own privacy policies. See the affiliate disclosure.

Your choices

• Ask us to see, correct or delete the details you submitted by emailing kundingwhale@gmail.com. We will act on verified requests.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a tracker blocker. The calculator still works.
• You can use the calculator without ever submitting your email.

Retention

Saved estimates are kept until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them. Analytics data is retained by those providers under their own policies.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its date.
